What if rum could be both bold and refined at the same time? Evidens Sauternes Cask Rum is made from an intense rum with distinct notes of arrack, esters and molasses – matured for four years in French Sauternes casks. The casks contribute a refined sweetness along with notes of honey, saffron and orange zest. The result is a complex and full-bodied rum, bottled at a cask strength of 55%. 

Sauternes casks are oak barrels previously used in the production of Sauternes wine, an exclusive sweet wine from Bordeaux, France, where the grapes are affected by noble rot, giving the wine its characteristic flavour.
