Argument: Hickory Rum is the result of that very ambition. Aged on new American oak casks, previously cold-smoked with hickory wood, this rum is unique in style, nose and taste.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tTASTING NOTES\t<\/h2>\n\t<h2>NOSE<\/h2>\n<p>This rum greets you with deep, rich aromas of caramelized sugar and sun-ripened tropical fruits. Hints of dried mango, apricot, and a touch of roasted coconut blend with delicate notes of oak and a whisper of warm spices. There\u2019s also a gentle, warm smokiness, coming from the hickory-cold-smoked oak casks, adding an intriguing depth to the aroma.<\/p>\n<h3>TASTE<\/h3>\n<p>A well-rounded rum with a natural sweetness that balances its depth. Initial flavors of dark molasses and honeyed figs transition into layers of toasted almonds, cinnamon, and a touch of nutmeg. The subtle smokiness from the cask treatment lingers in the background, enhancing the complexity without overpowering the smooth notes of cocoa, dried pineapple, and oak.
